Tyler Halas Shortstop

Hi,
My Name is Tyler Halas, I am a 12 year old 7th grader at Kenyon Woods Middle School in South Elgin, IL. In two short years I plan to attend Wheaton Academy high school and play for coach Willie Bosque a former Miami Hurricane player and associate scout for the San Diego Padres. From the time I turned 5 years old my passion and time has been spent playing baseball. It's all I do and I thank my big brother Nathan for being my role model and allowing me to practice and play with his older teams and friends. My father entered me in competitive travel baseball at the age of 8 and I have never looked back. Form the age of 8 I have played travel baseball one year above my current age and this year I played in a number of 14U tournaments at the age of 12. In 2010 I plan to play for the 13U Illinois Diamond Owlz which is a National Exposure Travel Team. I also will be playing in the CABA World Series with the 14U Orland Park Magic and other 14U tournaments when I am not playing with my Owlz team. My Goal is to some day receive and education and play for the University of Miami in hopes to move on from there and play at the Pro levels.
